A refundable pet security deposit of $500 is necessary for any pets that are included in a residence.  There is an absolute limit of 2 pets for each rental unit. In addition, there is a non-refundable professional cleaning fee of $300. This fee is used to professionally shampoo all soft furnishings after the pet leaves the unit.  This special cleaning fee applies whether the renter chooses to clean the unit or not.

This policy enactment is due to the fact that we have too many good prospective tenants refuse to rent a unit that sparks their pet allergies. It is also sometimes impossible for our repair people and rental agents to show a unit that is occupied by a too protective dog.
